LEGISLATION In application of the Decree DEVP1105626A of July 19th, 2011 for the prevention of the risks of classified industrial sites, the lightning strike impacts on site are registered. In case of lightning strike impact registered, a visual inspection must be done.In accordance with Standard EN NFC 17-102 ed.2 of Sept.2011 : Article 5.3.8 « the lightning strike counter must be in accordance with Standard NF EN 50164-6 (IEC 62561) », 7.2. « the installation of a lightning strike counter is recommended » 8.1 and 8.2 « the lightning strike impacts can be registered by a lightning strike counter installed on one of the down conductors».
